Celeste Carlisle - Dance Captain
This is Celeste's 3rd year as a member of the Alta Las Scelles, and she is a Dance Captain this year. She is a very happy person-- usually and loves to have a good time with her family and friends. She loves to go on vacations and is a big fan of relaxing. You can always count on her to be a great friend. She loves to dance. That is what you will always find her doing. She is so excited for this year and feels like the team is going to be very successful!
Tysha Woods - Head Drill Mistress
Tysha has been dancing since she was 3 years old, where she developed a deep love for this art. She has been surrounded by dance most all of her life and has been fortunate to have teachers that have loved and trained her. Tysh is trained in jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, hip hop and pointe. Tysha is an excellent student, especially in math! Math has always come very easy to her. She is the oldest of 4 children in her family and has always been very mature for her age. She is a responsible, trustworthy girl who wants to see everyone do their best. Tysh is a great example to everyone around her. Her hobbies are dancing, hanging out with friends, shopping, swimming, snowboarding and boating. Tysha would like to become a Sports Therapist once she is done with school. Her desire is to go to college, serve an LDS mission and become a wife and a mom. Tysha is currently serving as the Head Drill Mistress for the Alta Las Scelles.
Ashley Gilvarry - Head Drill Mistress
Ashley is a senior and has been on the drill team for three years. She is the Head Drill Mistress this year and loves being a Las Scelle. She has been dancing since she was three years old and has loved every minute of it. Some other things Ashley enjoys doing are crocheting, scrapbooking,and being with her family and friends. She loves sleeping and eating and can never go wrong with Jamba Juice or Sweet Tooth Fairy. Ashley loves being on the drill team and wouldn't trade it for anything!

Kaitlin Christensen - Publicity/Historian
Kaitlin will be a Junior at Alta High School this year. She is excited to be a part of the Alta Las Scelles for the second year! She is the Publicity/Historian Officer for the 2011-2012 school year. Kaitlin has danced since she was 3 years old. She has competed with her studio and received many 1st place solo and team honors. She loves ballet, pointe, jazz and lyrical dance. Kaitlin is also an accomplished pianist and has placed 1st in several piano competitions. She had the opportunity to play her winning concerto with the U of U Symphony in 2005. She has her own piano studio and students! She loves to watch movies, lay in the sun, eat grilled cheese sandwiches, and hang out with friends in her "spare time"!
Savannah Handley - Fundraising Chair
Savannah has been dancing since she was 3 years old. This is her second year as an Alta Las Scelle! This year she is the Fundraising Officer! Savannah has loved every second of her time on the drill team. She loves to travel and see new places! She loves to eat, sleep and hang out with her friends and family. Savannah loves her cat Tinkerbell. She also loves lions and her favorite color is purple.
Karli Holmes - Social Chair
Karlie Holmes is a junior and second year drill team member! She just made an officer position for the Alta Las Scelles. She has been dancing since she was three and has loved every minute of it! Karli has an infectious smile. She loves to make people happy! The team can always count on Kar for a laugh. Karli plans to continue dancing at Alta for the next two years. She can't imagine life without dance in it. She plans on incorporating her love for dance into her college plans!
Marissa McQuinn - Secretary
Marissa McQuinn is a Junior and loves drill! This year she is the secretary of the Alta High Las Scelles. Her favorite things about drill are performing and being with all of her best friends. She has been dencing for 13 years, studying ballet and modern dance. Some of her hobbies besides drill include; singing, baking, and hanging out with friends. After she graduates, she hopes to study at BYU in the nursing program and continue dancing as a Cougarette.
Kennedy Morgan
Kennedy did not always want to be a dancer. She basically tried every sport and hobby first. But when she did karate she pointed her toes. When she played basketball she ran on her toes and dribbled to the beat. When she sang she did it with a dancie flair. It was her grandma Abby who finally convinced her at the age of 10 that dancing was her destiny. Tracy's dance academy took Kenn under their wing and caught her up. She was in their competitive group for years till they closed their doors. Kennedy is graceful yet a goofy gal! She lives life as if every day is the last party she will be attending. She sings in the shower, sits on the roof and eats chocolate frosting from the can and can fall asleep anywhere. Being a member of the Las Scelles as a sophomore was "Da Bomb." Two more years of "Bliss" to go baby!!!!!!!!!

Rachel was born on May 26, 1995. she is currently a Junior at Alta. She has been dancing for four years. She enjoys being a member of the Alta Drill team and dancing with her friends everyday. Her favorite color is light green and her favorite food is crepes. She loves to travel!

Kelsey has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She has taken ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern and hip hop... but her favorite style of dance is contemporary. This year she will be a sophomore and she is so excited to be on the Alta Drill Team. She loves to take trips with her family. She especially loves to go on cruises and boating at Lake Powell. She also enjoys hanging with friends and cousins. She loves all the girls on the team and can't wait for a fun year!
Loretta Grazhees
Loretta is fifteen years old! She will turn 16 years old on Decmeber 6th! She loves to dance, and shop and she is good at making new friends. She is very nice, funny, sweet, kind and caring once you get to knew her! She has danced at AED for about 8 years, but only started competing two years ago. Last but not least, she loves her family and friends, and doesn't know where she would be without them! They've supported her all the way!
Teagan Bell
Teagan has been dancing since she was 3 years old and she loves it! She has danced at a lot of different studios, and has danced a lot of different styles, including pointe, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, ballet, tap and even some tumbling! She is a sophomore, and is happy to be on Alta's Drill Team! Her favorite color is orange. She likes summer, skiing, and boating and of course dancing!!
Mikail Maires
Mikail is a sophomore at Alta. she was born on February 12, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has been dancing since she was 2 years old and she absolutely loves it. She lives in a family of six. She has 2 brothers and 1 sister. She is the oldest. She is very outgoing and a little crazy too! When she was little she danced at her mom's friends' studio. She moved to Artistic Dance Studio when she was 5. Recently she has been dancing with Utah Artist School of Ballet. Other interests she has are photography, painting, boating and wakeboarding. She also loves the color purple and going to movies. She is thrilled to be on the Alta High drill team this year and can't wait for an incredible experience!
Nicole McConkie
My name is Nicole Lynne McConkie. I am a sophomore at Alta High School. At the age of two my mom put me in my first dance class. I loved dance from the very start! Through the years I have been a part of the following types of dance: jazz, modern, lyrical, ballet, pointe, clogging, character and my personal favorite hip hop. I've danced on a competition team since the age of eight. Each and every one of my dance performances I dedicate to my guardian angel my dad whose got the best seat in the crowd, love you dad!
Sadie Salisbury
Sadie is a Sophomore on Alta High's drill team for 2011-2012! She has been dancing ever since she was 3! Her favorite types of dance are hip hop, jazz and contemporary. She also likes soccer, singing and laughing! She absolutely loves Jamocha shakes and she is very scared of cows. Her best friend is McKay Draper and she always will be! Her favorite color is blue and she has an obsession for dolphins! She is a very happy person, and loves partying! This year's drill team is going to be bomb, so be prepared!!
Brinley Searle
Brinley was born on June 26, 1996 in St. George. She of course loves dancing and being on Alta's Drill Team. Other hobbies she enjoys include playing the piano and violin, partying and hanging out with friends, swimming, traveling, talking and eating food! She's looking forward to her sophomore year at Alta High School!
Sarah Skanchy
Sarah is a sophomore at Alta and is just staring drill and already loving it! She has been dancing since she was four. She has danced at a bunch of studios and has done a lot of ballet, jazz, contemporary, and more. Besides dance, she also likes to ski, boat, swim, go to the beach, spend time with her family and hang out with friends!
Alyssa Shoaf
Alyssa has been dancing for 13 years. She started off at Ginger Gunn Studios and has moved on to many others. Her favorite styles are lyrical and contemporary. She loves to dance and she is excited to move on to something new! Drill is going to be so much fun with this amazing team!
Lexi Smith
Lexi loves to dance, sing, act, model, have fun with her friends and of course go shopping. She has been dancing and singing since she was 5 years old. Lexi is the oldest in her family with 3 brothers, She loves being on Alta's Las Scelles and has had a blast so far!!

Lexie is the youngest and the only girl in her family. She has three older brothers and she lives in Draper. She has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She is first freshman to make the Alta High Las Scelles Drill Team!!
